MEET OUR TEAM
Michael Hesser – President
Michael Hesser has been steadily involved in primary research initiatives in
support of a variety of industries for nearly 20 years. Mike’s past positions
have included research leadership with several consulting firms, a regional
telephone company and an international advertising agency. He has designed
and led research projects in support of a diverse set of initiatives, including
new product development, customer loyalty, brand identity and advertising testing.
Mike
has been a recognized speaker at national conferences, and has
also authored several articles published in the national media
on the subjects of directory exchange, wireless technology and
local commerce. Mike’s responsibilities with The Praxi
Group never take him far away from the consumer, however, and
include moderating more than 100 focus groups each
year.
Wendy Jenkins – Vice President
Wendy Jenkins has worked in customized research for over 15 years. Prior
to joining The Praxi Group she was a Director of Client Services
with ACNielsen International based in New York where she was responsible
for overseeing the co-ordination and completion of large research
projects – both domestically and internationally.
Wendy
has been exposed to many aspects of market research in a diverse
range of industries including durable goods, finance, personal
care and healthcare. She has experience with qualitative and
quantitative research for both consumer and business to business
research.
Susan Stickling – Vice President
Susan
has over 15 years of primary market research experience. Prior
to joining The Praxi Group, she was an Account Executive for a
research firm specializing in the telecom and high-tech industries.
While in this position, she designed, managed, and analyzed many
strategic studies both domestically and internationally. She has
experience in business-to-business as well as consumer research
using numerous methodologies (both quantitative and qualitative).
She started her career in market research at Market Facts (now
Synovate) where she managed projects for a variety of industries
including liquor, beverage, and retail.
Roxanne Salen – Project Coordinator
Roxanne Salen received her M.A. in US-China Relations with an emphasis on business from University of Hawaii. She has published some articles on corporate stakeholder relations, and is especially interested in the communication between businesses and their customers. Other topics of interest include branding and reputation, subjects which she explored in a paper co-authored by one of her former Professors for the 12th Annual Reputation Institute Conference in Beijing, China 2008. Roxanne is keenly interested in the China market, and stays abreast of China market issues and developments. She joined The Praxi Group in 2008.
